Serbian tennis maestro Novak Djokovic dashed Andrey Rublev's hopes of a breakthrough Grand Slam semifinal appearance at Wimbledon. Djokovic's quarterfinal victory not only marked his 46th major semifinal, equalling Roger Federer's record but also kept his bid for a historic fifth consecutive Wimbledon crown and eighth title overall alive.
