Taylor Swift stated AR Rahman is a brilliant musician: ‘His music touches the soul’

AR Rahman has stated that he would write anything Taylor Swift wants to hear and has referred to her as a "case study" for musicians if given the opportunity to work with her. Ten years ago, in an exclusive interview with the Hindustan Times, Taylor expressed nothing but admiration for the Grammy-winning Indian composer.

I have heard a lot about AR Rahman. I think he is a fantastic musician. His music touches the soul. I would love to hear him perform live once, she stated. People are deeply moved by his songs. Taylor allegedly stated to the Hindustan Times in 2014, "I would love to hear him live once."
She also mentioned how much she wanted to star in a Bollywood movie at the same time. Indian cinema has a lot of music and dance, which excites me. I think Indians share a big passion for song and dance in the movies, which I love. It is a great way of connecting with the audience. She had complimented it earlier on how well it engaged the crowd.
Rahman clearly loved Taylor as a singer-songwriter since, in an interview with FM Connect Canada, he said that Taylor was a better singer-songwriter than Ariana Grande. He also said that if Taylor is eager to collaborate with him, he is open to write any kind of music for her. He gave her high marks for the influence she has had on musicians all across the world.
It's a lovely thing when people can use music as a positive outlet for their feelings. Michael Jackson has the capacity to make that happen. He performed numerous charity performances and took part in numerous humanitarian initiatives when he was in Africa. We are pleased that Taylor has achieved success. She has endured tremendous hardship. She had been duped and then triumphantly reappeared. Rahman claims that she is an inspiration and a role model for musicians.
