When asked about his willingness to be a part of the show, Thapliyal humbly replied, "Not at the moment. I believe I need to achieve more - perhaps star in 150 or 200 crore movies. They might not consider me for such a platform without substantial accomplishments. To grace 'Koffee With Karan,' you require substantial recognition or a prominent reputation."

Thapliyal also revealed his experience working alongside Anurag Kashyap in 'Kennedy.' He shared the story of how he landed the role, saying, "I received a call from an unknown number while I was in the midst of shooting for 'Blurr.' The caller informed me that a script was on its way and asked if I'd be interested in the role."

"He mentioned that he had envisioned the character with me in mind, which was a tremendous compliment for an actor," Thapliyal added.
