Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon's Rom-Com 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' Sees Gradual Box Office Debut

The romantic comedy film "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya," featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, had a slow start at the box office, earning approximately 6.5 crore rupees on its opening day in India. Mixed reviews and modest occupancy rates marked its debut.

In the latest box office report, the much-anticipated romantic comedy film, "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya," starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, hit screens on February 9. Audience reactions have been varied since its release. The movie's first-day box office earnings have been disclosed, revealing a sluggish start. Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's film debuted during Valentine's week, aiming to capitalize on the romantic theme.

Bookings for "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya" amounted to approximately 2.11 crore rupees, setting the stage for its release. According to reports from Sacnilk, the film grossed 6.5 crore rupees on its opening day in India.

Analysis shows that the movie achieved an overall occupancy of 14.92% in Hindi on Friday. The morning and afternoon shows recorded 8.8% and 11.79% occupancy, respectively. Evening and night screenings saw slightly better numbers, with 13.62% and 25.46% occupancy rates, respectively. Projections suggest the film's weekend collection may reach around 20 crore rupees.

"Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya" explores the concept of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in an unlikely love story. Shahid Kapoor portrays a scientist who develops emotions and forms a relationship with an intelligent female robot, played by Kriti Sanon. The film, written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar. Alongside Kapoor and Sanon, veteran actor Dharmendra also features in the cast.
