Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar, has had his security upgraded to Y+ status by the Maharashtra government. This decision comes in response to alleged death threats received by Khan after the release of his recent movies, 'Pathan' and 'Jawan.' The actor submitted a formal complaint to the state government, prompting the heightened security measures.

'Jawan,' Khan's most recent release, has enjoyed remarkable success at the global box office, grossing a staggering Rs 1103.27 crore. The production company behind the film, Red Chillies Entertainment, proudly declared, "'Jawan' is consistently shattering box office records."

Released on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, 'Jawan' has achieved a historic milestone in Indian cinema, becoming the first Hindi film to surpass the Rs 1100 crore mark worldwide. The domestic box office collection accounted for Rs 733.37 crore, while the overseas box office contributed Rs 369.90 crore. Moreover, the film has made a significant impact in the domestic market, amassing a net collection of Rs 560.03 crore.

'Jawan' is a fascinating story that dives into the emotional journey of a man motivated to correct the wrongs of society. In the movie, Shah Rukh Khan plays both Vikram Rathore and his son Azad. Along with Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt making cameos, the cast also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Gaurav Verma and Gauri Khan both contributed to the production of the film.
