In the Ghaziabad region of Uttar Pradesh, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded when a 25-year-old man took the life of his elderly mother. The tragic event occurred in Loni, sending shockwaves through the community. The young man, identified as Shahrukh, reportedly used a sharp weapon to fatally injure his 63-year-old mother, Dilshad Begum, striking her on the face and neck.

Initially, Shahrukh attempted to divert attention by accusing a neighbor from the Aman Vihar Colony of perpetrating the gruesome act. However, as authorities delved deeper into the matter, inconsistencies surfaced in Shahrukh's narrative. Consequently, the police initiated an extensive interrogation, unraveling unsettling truths.

Under questioning, Shahrukh eventually confessed to the chilling crime, leading to his prompt arrest. ACP Surya Bali Maurya, from the Loni division, disclosed critical findings: the weapon used in the heinous act and Shahrukh's blood-stained clothes were recovered, serving as damning evidence against him.

Preliminary investigations unveiled a distressing pattern in Shahrukh's behavior. It was revealed that he had a history of assaulting his mother, purportedly driven by his addiction to drugs and alcohol. Shockingly, it was disclosed that Shahrukh had previously borrowed a substantial sum of Rs 3 lakh from his mother, under the pretext of utilizing it for a business venture. However, he returned home after a brief stint and resumed pressuring his mother for financial aid, creating a cycle of dependency.
