The emotional reunion, orchestrated under strict conditions, offered a temporary respite from his legal battles. The court directive barred him from media interaction and political engagements.

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia returned home from Tihar Jail after the Delhi High Court sanctioned a brief respite to meet his ailing wife, Seema. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Seema's sudden health deterioration led to this compassionate decision. The court allowed a six-hour visit from 10 am to 4 pm, emphasizing that Sisodia should refrain from media interaction or engaging in any political activity.

Accompanied by police personnel, the Aam Aadmi Party leader arrived at his residence on Mathura Road around 10 am in a prison van. This marks a significant development, considering Sisodia's earlier failed attempt to meet his wife in June due to her hospitalization.

The court's directions were clear: Sisodia must avoid media interaction and political engagements during his brief reprieve. Notably, Sisodia held the position of deputy CM and managed various portfolios, including Education and Excise, before his arrest in the liquor scam case. Despite resigning from these positions, his family continued to reside at his official residence, sharing it with Education Minister Atishi.

This temporary release follows the Supreme Court's recent rejection of Sisodia's bail application in the liquor scam case. The unique situation blends legal complexities with personal hardship, offering a glimpse into the challenges faced by public figures entangled in legal battles.
