BSP leader Mayawati raised serious concerns over the unexpected and one-sided outcomes of the Assembly polls held in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana. These results, particularly the massive victories secured by the BJP in three out of four states, have left many observers and political figures bewildered and doubtful.

The BJP's resurgence in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, coupled with a reinforced mandate in Madhya Pradesh, contradicted the anticipated close contests that were predicted during the election campaigns. Even though the BJP faced a setback in Telangana, its increased vote and seat shares compared to previous elections have only added to the puzzling nature of these outcomes.

Expressing her concerns on a public platform, Mayawati emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating that such unexpected and one-sided results are challenging for people to accept. She highlighted the discrepancy between the perceived close races and the actual landslide victories as a "matter of concern" that demands serious consideration and resolution.

Addressing her party members, Mayawati urged them not to lose hope, despite the BSP's limited success in securing only two seats in Rajasthan. She encouraged them to draw strength from the life and struggles of Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar and remain resilient in their efforts.

The BJP's sweeping victories with 54 seats in Chhattisgarh, 163 in Madhya Pradesh, 115 in Rajasthan, and 8 in Telangana have triggered widespread discussions and speculation. Mayawati's scrutiny of the election outcomes has sparked conversations about the unpredictability of the political landscape and the need for a critical review of the electoral process.

In light of these results, Mayawati has called for a meeting in Lucknow on December 10 to strategize for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls. This move reflects the BSP's intention to reassess its approach and adapt to the evolving political dynamics in the wake of these unexpected electoral outcomes.
