Arrest Made: Gangster Nabbed in Rohini Following Police Clash

Delhi Police apprehended a notorious gangster, Ajay Joon, in Rohini after a fierce shootout. Joon, associated with the Kala Jathedi and Priyavart gang, faced charges of murder, abduction, and extortion across Delhi and Haryana. Additional Commissioner Sanjay Bhatia highlighted the operation's intensity, involving a nine-round exchange of fire.

In a dramatic turn of events in Rohini, Delhi, law enforcement authorities successfully apprehended a notorious gangster after a fierce shootout ensued between the suspect and the police. The individual in question, identified as Ajay Joon, was reportedly a member of the infamous Kala Jathedi and Priyavart gang, known for its involvement in various criminal activities across the region.

According to official reports, Ajay Joon, aged 33, had accumulated a staggering list of charges against him, including multiple counts of murder, attempted murder, abduction, and extortion, spanning across both Delhi and neighboring Haryana. The arrest was a culmination of a prolonged effort by the Delhi Police to track down and apprehend Joon, who had been evading authorities for an extended period.

The operation leading to Joon's arrest was initiated based on actionable intelligence received by the police, indicating his presence in the Khera Khurd village of Rohini. Additional Commissioner of Police (crime) Sanjay Bhatia provided insights into the operation, stating that the police had received specific information regarding Joon's whereabouts and swiftly mobilized to intercept him.

Upon reaching the targeted location, a well-coordinated trap was set by the police to apprehend the wanted criminal. As anticipated, Joon was spotted by the police riding a motorcycle in Khera Khurd village. The police signaled for him to stop, triggering a rapid sequence of events. Ignoring the police warnings, Joon attempted to flee the scene and opened fire on the police raiding party, initiating a dangerous exchange of gunfire.

The intensity of the confrontation escalated as both Joon and the police team exchanged gunfire, with a total of nine rounds being fired during the encounter. Despite the odds stacked against them, the police officers remained steadfast in their pursuit, ultimately managing to overpower and subdue the armed suspect.
