In a significant development, WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is in the works to introduce a new subscription feature called 'Meta Verified.' This feature aims to bolster business credibility and trust. Businesses will soon have the option to subscribe to 'Meta Verified,' replacing the previous WhatsApp Premium service. The 'Meta Verified' subscription will provide a verified badge, offering businesses a seal of authenticity and trustworthiness to their customers. This move is in alignment with the platform's objective to enhance the business-customer relationship.

According to WABetaInfo, this new subscription will not only replace WhatsApp Premium but also offer additional features, such as enhanced security measures. While the specific timeline for its release remains undisclosed, it's confirmed that the subscription is currently under development. Alongside this development, WhatsApp is testing an innovative feature for Android users. This feature will enable users to share music audio during video calls, enriching the user experience during interactions.

Notably, this functionality extends to both group and individual calls, promising synchronized audio experiences even in one-on-one conversations.
